Lo más apropiado es que alguien que ha recibido tanto de la misericordia de Dios, hable de ella. Varios milagros han pasado en mi vida: El 28 de febrero del 2008 me ocurrió un milagro, sufrí un derrame cerebral, me dió hidrocefalia, me insertaron la válvula de Hakim en la cabeza, me dió neumonía, me dió de todo, duré 40 días en cuidados intensivos, en coma, dos meses en la clínica, pero Dios todopoderoso me salvó la vida. Se estarán preguntando porque llamo a este hecho tan delicado un milagro? YO VI A JESÚS, CUANDO ESTABA EN COMA, EN LA CLINICA, PARA MI EL MEJOR DIA DE MI VIDA ES EN EL QUE ME DIÓ EL DERRAME CEREBRAL, PORQUE ME PERMITIÓ VER PARTE DE LA GLORIA DE DIOS, HA SIDO EL MEJOR DÍA DE MI VIDA. / It is most appropriate for someone who has received so much of God's mercy to speak about it. Several miracles have happened in my life: On February 28th, 2008, a miracle happened to me, I suffered a stroke, I got hydrocephalus, they inserted the Hakim valve in my head, I got pneumonia, I got everything, I lasted 40 days in intensive care, in a coma, two months in the clinic, but almighty God saved my life. You may be wondering why I call this delicate fact a miracle? I SAW JESUS, WHEN I WAS IN A COMA, IN THE CLINIC, FOR ME THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE IS THE ONE WHEN I GOT MY BRAIN STROKE, BECAUSE IT ALLOWED ME TO SEE PART OF THE GLORY OF GOD, IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.
En Isaías 54:1-17 dice: “Regocíjate, oh estéril, la que no daba a luz; levanta canción y da voces de júbilo, la que nunca estuvo de parto; porque más son los hijos de la desamparada que los de la casada, ha dicho el Señor. Ensancha el sitio de tu tienda, y las cortinas de tus habitaciones sean extendidas; no seas escasa; alarga tus cuerdas, y refuerza tus estacas. Porque te extenderás a la mano derecha y a la mano izquierda; y tu descendencia heredará naciones, y habitará las ciudades asoladas. No temas, pues no serás confundida; y no te avergüences, porque no serás afrentada, sino que te olvidarás de la vergüenza de tu juventud, y de la afrenta de tu viudez no tendrás más memoria. Porque tu marido es tu Hacedor; el Señor de los ejércitos es Su nombre; y tu Redentor, el Santo de Israel; Dios de toda la tierra será llamado. Porque como a mujer abandonada y triste de espíritu te llamó el Señor, y como a la esposa de la juventud que es repudiada, dijo el Dios tuyo. Por un breve momento te abandoné, pero te recogeré con grandes misericordias. Con un poco de ira escondí mi rostro de ti por un momento; pero con misericordia eterna tendré compasión de ti, dijo el Señor tu Redentor. Porque esto me será como en los días de Noé, cuando juré que nunca más las aguas de Noé pasarían sobre la tierra; así he jurado que no me enojaré contra ti, ni te reñiré. Porque los montes se moverán, y los collados temblarán, pero no se apartará de ti mi misericordia, ni el pacto de mi paz se quebrantará, dijo el Señor, el que tiene misericordia de ti. Pobrecita, fatigada con tempestad, sin consuelo; he aquí que yo cimentaré tus piedras sobre carbunclo, y sobre zafiros te fundaré. Tus ventanas pondré de piedras preciosas, tus puertas de piedras de carbunclo, y toda tu muralla de piedras preciosas. Y todos tus hijos serán enseñados por el Señor; y se multiplicará la paz de tus hijos. Con justicia serás adornada; estarás lejos de opresión, porque no temerás, y de temor, porque no se acercará a ti. Si alguno conspirare contra ti, lo hará sin mí; el que contra ti conspirare, delante de ti caerá. He aquí que yo hice al herrero que sopla las ascuas en el fuego, y que saca la herramienta para su obra; y yo he creado al destruidor para destruir. Ninguna arma forjada contra ti prosperará, y condenarás toda lengua que se levante contra ti en juicio. Esta es la herencia de los siervos del Señor, y su salvación de mí vendrá, dijo el Señor.” No podemos seguir siendo bonsais, muy hermosos pero sin frutos. Dios nos ha llamado a dar muchos frutos. las limitaciones están la mayoría de las veces en nuestra mente. El fruto que debemos dar es llevar a muchos a los pies de Jesús. / In Isaiah 54:1-17 it says: “Rejoice, O barren woman, who did not give birth; She lifts up song and shouts for joy, she who was never in labor; For the children of the homeless woman are more than those of the married woman, says the Lord. Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your rooms be extended; do not be scarce; lengthen your ropes, and strengthen your stakes. For you will reach out to the right hand and to the left hand; and your descendants will inherit nations, and will inhabit the desolate cities. Do not be afraid, for you will not be confused; and do not be ashamed, for you will not be shamed, but you will forget the shame of your youth, and you will no longer remember the shame of your widowhood. Because your husband is your Maker; the Lord of hosts is his name; and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; God of all earth will be called. For the Lord has called you like a woman abandoned and sad in spirit, and like the wife of youth who is divorced, says your God. For a brief moment I abandoned you, but I will pick you up with great mercies. With a little anger I hid my face from you for a moment; But with eternal mercy I will have compassion on you, says the Lord your Redeemer. For this will be to me as in the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again pass over the earth; so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor will I scold you. For the mountains will move, and the hills will tremble, but my mercy will not depart from you, nor will the covenant of my peace be broken, says the Lord, who has mercy on you. Poor thing, weary with the storm, without consolation; Behold, I will base your stones on carbuncle, and I will found you on sapphires. I will make your windows of precious stones, your doors of carbuncle stones, and your entire wall of precious stones. And all your children will be taught by the Lord; and the peace of your children will be multiplied. With righteousness you will be adorned; You will be far from oppression, because you will not fear, and from fear, because it will not come near you. If anyone plots against you, he will do it without me; He who plots against you will fall before you. Behold, I made the blacksmith who blows the coals into the fire, and who brings out the tool for his work; and I have created the destroyer to destroy. No weapon formed against you will prosper, and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. “This is the inheritance of the servants of the Lord, and their salvation from me will come, says the Lord.” We cannot continue being bonsais, very beautiful but without fruits. God has called us to bear many fruits. Limitations are most of the time in our minds. The fruit we must bear is to bring many to the feet of Jesus.
Son muchas las secuelas que me han quedado del derrame cerebral, todas ellas muy positivas. La primera es que ahora tengo una fe firme, YO VI A JESÚS. Desarrollé un sentido impresionante de la paciencia, porque todo tenía que hacerlo con mucha paciencia, muy despacio, porque me podía caer. Dios me dijo, un momento, lo vamos a hacer todo muy despacio. Yo que siempre estaba haciendo todo a toda velocidad, tuve que aprender muchísima paciencia. Yo fumaba antes del derrame cerebral, esporádicamente, pero fumaba. Ya no fumo, porque no puedo atentar contra el templo del Espíritu Santo que es mi cuerpo. Mi consejo para los fumadores es que dejen el cigarrillo, recuerden que no pueden atentar contra el templo del Espíritu Santo que es su cuerpo. Ahora soy el hombre cero estrés: “Vuestra gentileza sea conocida de todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca. Por nada estéis afanosos, sino sean conocidas vuestras peticiones delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con acción de gracias. Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, guardará vuestros corazones y vuestros pensamientos en Cristo Jesús” (Filipenses 4:5-7). Hay que hacer las cosas, es cierto, pero no hay que afanarse por nada, hay es que orar. / There are many after-effects that I have had from the stroke, all of them very positive. The first is that now I have a firm faith, I SAW JESUS. I developed an impressive sense of patience, because I had to do everything very patiently, very slowly, because I could fall. God told me, wait a minute, we are going to do everything very slowly. I, who was always doing everything at full speed, had to learn a lot of patience. I smoked before the stroke, sporadically, but I smoked. I no longer smoke, because I cannot attack the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is my body. My advice to smokers is to give up cigarettes, remember that they cannot attack the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is their body. Now I am the zero stress man: “Your kindness be known to all men. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:5-7). You have to do things, it's true, but you don't have to worry about anything, you have to pray.
Los cristianos dicen “nosotros somos cristianos, entonces sí somos salvos”, los católicos dicen “nosotros somos católicos, entonces sí somos salvos”, los musulmanes dicen “nosotros somos musulmanes, entonces sí nos podemos relacionar con Dios”. Nosotros como seres humanos siempre pensando en lo que nos separa antes de lo que nos une. Nos une que adoramos al mismo Dios. Dios es Uno sólo (Deuteronomio 6:4-5; Santiago 2:19; Romanos 3:30; 1 Corintios 8:6), y es el mismo, para cristianos, para católicos, para musulmanes, para todo el mundo. Y es cierto que hay que reunirse con cristianos, con católicos, o con musulmanes, para recibir la palabra de Dios, que es el alimento espiritual, el combustible que mueve nuestro vehículo interno, pero más allá de las religiones, lo que Dios quiere es tener una relación personal con cada uno de nosotros, y lo que debemos hacer es buscarlo. / Christians say “we are Christians, so we are saved,” Catholics say “we are Catholics, so we are saved,” Muslims say “we are Muslims, so we can relate to God.” We as human beings always think about what separates us before what unites us. It unites us that we worship the same God. God is only One (Deuteronomy 6: 4-5; James 2:19; Romans 3:30; 1 Corinthians 8: 6), and He is the same, for Christians, for Catholics, for Muslims, for everyone. And it is true that we must meet with Christians, with Catholics, or with Muslims, to receive the word of God, which is spiritual food, the fuel that moves our internal vehicle, but beyond religions, what God wants is have a personal relationship with each of us, and what we must do is seek Him.
Por qué no debemos dejar de buscar a Dios? En 1 Pedro 5:8-9 dice: “Sed sobrios, y velad; porque vuestro adversario el diablo, como león rugiente, anda alrededor buscando a quien devorar; al cual resistid firmes en la fe, sabiendo que los mismos padecimientos se van cumpliendo en vuestros hermanos en todo el mundo.” Tenemos un adversario que está como león rugiente buscando a quien devorar. No solo hay terremotos (como el de Haití, registrado en enero del año 2010), sino también hay vicios, que nos alejan de Dios. En Proverbios 8:17-18 dice: “Yo amo a los que me aman, Y me hallan los que temprano me buscan. Las riquezas y la honra están conmigo; Riquezas duraderas, y justicia.” En el Salmo 105:4 dice: “Buscad al Señor y su poder; Buscad siempre Su rostro.” En Santiago 4:7-10 dice: “Someteos, pues, a Dios; resistid al diablo, y huirá de vosotros. Acercaos a Dios, y El se acercará a vosotros. Pecadores, limpiad las manos; y vosotros los de doble ánimo, purificad vuestros corazones. Afligíos, y lamentad, y llorad. Vuestra risa se convierta en lloro, y vuestro gozo en tristeza. Humillaos delante del Señor, y El os exaltará.“ Si queremos a Dios más cerca, hay que buscarlo. Nosotros somos los más privilegiados al buscarlo. / Why should we not stop seeking God? In 1 Peter 5:8-9 it says: “Be sober and be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, like a roaring lion, walks around looking for someone to devour; to which resist firm in faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being fulfilled in your brothers throughout the world.” We have an adversary who is like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Not only are there earthquakes (like the one in Haiti, recorded in January 2010), but there are also vices, which distance us from God. In Proverbs 8:17-18 he says, “I love those who love me, and those who seek me early find me. Riches and honor are with me; Lasting riches, and justice.” In Psalm 105:4 he says, “Seek the Lord and his power; Always seek his face." In James 4:7-10 he says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God; Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Sinners, clean your hands; and you who are double-minded, purify your hearts. Be afflicted, and mourn and weep. May your laughter turn to tears, and your joy to sadness. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you. “If we want God closer, we must seek Him. We are the most privileged to seek Him.
Le agradezco también a la empresa donde trabajé hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2016, que no reparó en gastos durante mi recuperación. Gracias a la gestión del director del centro de investigación donde laboré, me trasladaron a una habitación en un piso muy exclusivo de la Fundación Cardiovascular, una vez estuve fuera de cuidados intensivos. Me pagaron mi salario normalmente durante los 6 meses que estuve fuera del trabajo (lo que permitió que mi familia siguiera con una vida relativamente normal), incluso con bonos en dinero muy jugosos que mi ex esposa utilizó para comprar cremas y demás utensilios indispensables para mi manutención. Hasta me pagaron el alquiler de la cama médica a la que regresé a mi hogar (algo que no hacen con ningún trabajador), me compraron una silla de ruedas que utilicé de manera muy escasa. Invirtió mi medio tiempo en la recuperación, me pagaron los taxis que me transportaban. Me pagaron las terapias con los fisioterapistas y las últimas terapias, incluyendo la equino terapia, con sus respectivos taxis. En fin, no repararon en gastos. Para el presidente de la empresa, los vicepresidentes, el director del centro de investigación donde trabajé, para todos sus trabajadores, va mi agradecimiento desde aquí. / I also thank the company where I worked until December 31, 2016, which spared no expense during my recovery. Thanks to the management of the director of the research center where I worked, they moved me to a room on a very exclusive floor of the Cardiovascular Foundation, once I was out of intensive care. They paid me my salary normally during the 6 months that I was out of work (which allowed my family to continue with a relatively normal life), even with very juicy cash bonuses that my ex-wife used to buy creams and other essential utensils for my maintenance. They even paid me the rent for the medical bed to which I returned home (something they don't do with any worker), they bought me a wheelchair that I used very sparingly. They invested my part-time in recovery, they paid for the taxis that transported me. They paid for my therapies with the physiotherapists and the latest therapies, including equine therapy, with their respective taxis. In short, no expense was spared. To the president of the company, the vice presidents, the director of the research center where I worked, to all its workers, my thanks go from here.
