Tener respeto a la persona del impío,
para pervertir el derecho del justo) no es bueno. Proverbios 18:5. / It is not good to
be partial to the wicked and so deprive the
innocent of justice. Proverbs 18:5
Alguna vez el
veredicto de un proceso te fue desfavorable? ¿Tú tenías la seguridad de que
estabas reclamando algo justo y, sin embargo, no prevaleció la justicia? En los
tiempos bíblicos, había jueces que vendían la justicia. Había también testigos
falsos que por una cantidad de dinero afirmaban lo que nunca habían visto.
Personas inocentes eran declaradas culpables y los culpables eran declarados
inocentes. ¿A dónde vas tú a buscar justicia cuando los encargados de
administrarla se compran y se venden? ¿Haces justicia con tus propias manos?
¿Aceptas pasivamente los errores judiciales? Hay gente que reclama, que patalea
y grita. La administración corrupta de la justicia puede generar caos social. / Has the verdict of a trial ever
been unfavorable to you? You were sure that you were demanding something fair
and yet justice did not prevail? In biblical times, there were judges who sold
justice. There were also false witnesses who, for a sum of money, claimed what
they had never seen. Innocent people were declared guilty and the guilty were
declared innocent. Where do you go to seek justice when those in charge of
administering it are bought and sold? Do you do justice with your own hands? Do
you passively accept miscarriages of justice? There are people who complain,
who kick and scream. The corrupt administration of justice can generate social
chaos.
La advertencia
de Salomón, que leemos en el texto de hoy, no es por causa de un posible
conflicto social. La expresión: "no es bueno", se repite muchas veces
en el libro de Proverbios. Tiene que ver con llamadas de atención para
encontrar el camino de la felicidad. El propósito de la Biblia es enseñar. / Solomon's
warning, which we read in today's text, is not because of a possible social
conflict. The expression: "it is not good" is repeated many times in
the book of Proverbs. It has to do with calls for attention to find the path to
happiness. The purpose of the Bible is to teach.
Todos nosotros
administramos justicia. De un modo u otro. En menor o en mayor grado. Todos los
días estamos emitiendo opiniones, influyendo, dando o recibiendo órdenes. El
padre en casa, el gerente en la empresa, el jefe en la fábrica. Cada día
tomamos parte del lado del bien o del mal. No hay terreno neutral. No hacer
nada es dejar de vivir. / We all administer justice. One way or another. To a lesser or
greater degree. Every day we are issuing opinions, influencing, giving or
receiving orders. The father at home, the manager at the company, the boss at
the factory. Every day we take part on the side of good or evil. There is no
neutral ground. Doing nothing is stopping living.
El consejo
bíblico de hoy tiene como objetivo llevar al ser humano a alcanzar la paz
interior. No hay mejor píldora para dormir que la satisfacción del deber
cumplido y la voz de la conciencia aprobando las decisiones. / Today's biblical advice aims to
lead human beings to achieve inner peace. There is no better sleeping pill than
the satisfaction of a duty fulfilled and the voice of conscience approving
decisions.
Sé un hombre
justo. Permite que Jesús y sus valores espirituales habiten en tu corazón.
Jesús te abre los ojos para que veas lo que los otros no ven. Ilumina tu mente
y corazón, te inspira y te da sabiduría. Nadie fue a El y volvió frustrado. / Be a
fair man. Allow Jesus
and His spiritual values to dwell in your heart. Jesus opens your eyes so you
can see what others don't see. He illuminates your mind and heart, He inspires
you and gives you wisdom. No one went to Him and came back frustrated.
Sé firme. Toma
posición. La llave del fracaso es tratar de agradar a todo el mundo. No es eso
lo que Dios ni las personas esperan de ti. No es de ese modo como tendrás paz
en el corazón. / Be
strong. Take a position. The key to failure is trying to please everyone. That
is not what God or people expect of you. That is not how you will have peace in
your heart.
Hoy es un
nuevo día. Mira a tu familia alrededor de ti. Administra la justicia entre
ellos con sabiduría. Y recuerda que: "Tener respeto a la persona del
impío, para pervertir el derecho del justo, no es bueno". / Today is a new day. Look at
your family around you. Administer justice between them wisely. And remember
that: "
It is not good to be partial to the wicked and so deprive the innocent of
justice."
