De mañana sácianos de tu misericordia, y
cantaremos y nos alegraremos todos nuestros días. Salmos 90:14. / Satisfy us in the morning with your
unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. Psalms
90:14
Es de
madrugada en Brasilia, donde vivo. Me desperté temprano. Más temprano que de
costumbre. Tengo un gran desafío ante mí hoy, y aprendí que la mejor manera de
enfrentar los desafíos es buscando al Señor.
"De mañana sácianos de tu misericordia", aconseja Moisés. Este
salmo fue escrito por él. Es una oración que hizo ante la enorme
responsabilidad de conducir a Israel a la tierra prometida y ver que tenía poco
tiempo para cumplir la misión. / It's early morning in Brasilia, where I live.
I woke up early. Earlier than usual. I have a great challenge before me today,
and I learned that the best way to face challenges is to seek the Lord. "Satisfy us in the
morning with your unfailing love", Moses advises. This
psalm was written by him. It is a prayer that he prayed in the face of the
enormous responsibility of leading Israel to the promised land and seeing that
he had little time to fulfill the mission.
"Los
días de nuestra edad son setenta años; y si en los más robustos son ochenta
años -dice él-, con todo, su fortaleza es molestia y trabajo, porque pronto
pasan, y volamos". / "Our days may come to seventy years, or
eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and
sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away."
La vida
pasa rápidamente. Repentinamente tú abres los ojos ante el espejo y ves cabello
blanco en la cabeza y arrugas en la cara. Tan solo ayer eras un joven
comenzando la vida. ¿Qué pasó? "Volamos", es la respuesta de Moisés. / Life goes by quickly. Suddenly you open
your eyes in the mirror and see white hair on your head and wrinkles on your
face. Just yesterday you were a young man starting life. What happened? "We fly," is Moses' answer.
Si
tenemos tanto para hacer y tan poco tiempo para .realizar, necesitamos
saciarnos de mañana con la misericordia del Señor. / If we have so
much to do and so little time to accomplish, we need to be satisfied in the
morning with the mercy of the Lord.
En Brasil
hay un dicho: "Saco vado no puede pararse". Sería la versión popular
del consejo de Moisés. Pasar tiempo con Dios es inversión. Pruébalo. El día que
tengas más dificultades. Cuando tú sientas que los desafíos son mayores que tus
fuerzas, olvida todo y, de mañana, quédate a solas con Jesús. Ábrele el
corazón. Dile que tienes miedo, que necesitas fuerzas, que tal vez no sabes
cuál es la mejor salida. / In Brazil there is a saying: "empty bag
can't stand up." It would be the popular version of Moses' advice.
Spending time with God is an investment. Test it. The day you have the most
difficulties. When you feel that the challenges are greater than your strength,
forget everything and, in the morning, be alone with Jesus. Open your heart to Him.
Tell Him that you are afraid, that you need strength, that maybe you don't know
what the best way out is.
Y tú lo
verás. No es posible explicado con palabras. Tú simplemente verás cómo las
cosas se simplifican naturalmente. La luz entra en la mente confusa. El temor
desaparece. El cielo queda azul y tú estás listo para vivir el más
extraordinario día de tu vida. / And you will see it. It cannot be explained
in words. You will simply see how things simplify naturally. The light enters
the confused mind. The fear disappears. The sky turns blue and you are ready to
live the most extraordinary day of your life.
Haz de
esa experiencia una realidad hoy. Moisés afirma que el resultado será un
cántico de júbilo en el corazón. Júbilo es una explosión de gratitud y
alabanza. Endorfina pura. Un cóctel vitamínico para el alma agobiada por los
pesares de la vida. / Make that experience a reality today. Moses
states that the result will be a song of joy in the heart. Joy is an explosion
of gratitude and praise. Pure endorphin. A vitamin cocktail for the soul
overwhelmed by life's sorrows.
Sal ahora
a la lucha del día conservando esta oración: "De mañana sácianos de tu
misericordia, y cantaremos y nos alegraremos todos nuestros días". / Go out
now to the fight of the day keeping this prayer: "Satisfy us in the morning with your
unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days."
